"I had the pleasure of attending my final Warren Alpert Foundation retreat as an Alliance for Genetic Counseling Fellowship student, and I’m still thinking about how special it was!
From thoughtful discussions on building trust in research to time spent giving back through a community service activity, every part of the retreat felt meaningful. It was also really nice to reconnect, reflect, and spend time together as a cohort.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to share a lightning presentation on my thesis work. Being able to talk about research I care about in such a supportive space made the event feel even more full circle, from starting this journey to now sharing my thesis and wrapping up this chapter.
