Class of 2026 Scholar, Didar Yahia, shares experience!

"I had an amazing time with my fellow Warren Alpert Foundation Scholars and program leadership on Boston University’s campus. Both classes raised money and assembled care packages with essential toiletries for Rosie’s Place, a local women’s center. Alongside my 2026 graduates, I also had the opportunity to present our thesis work with each other.
Over the past two years, getting to know my fellow WAF scholars has been instrumental to my growth and to making it through the genetic counseling master’s program. I would like to give a special thanks to the Warren Alpert Foundation for funding my education and making these two years at RUGCMP possible. Also, thanks to University of Pennsylvania and Boston University for hosting these retreats!
I can’t wait to see what the Class of 2026 (and the Class of 2027) will accomplish!"
