Miles was born in New Jersey, but has called Cleveland, Ohio, home since he was 10 years old. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in the spring of 2025 with a degree in Human Biology and Society. He is interested in the intersection between biological and social issues with a particular interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion. His passion in genetic counseling stems from a desire to work towards repairing the historic distrust between marginalized communities and the medical field. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and supporting Chelsea Football Club.
