Kristen Connors
Kristen grew up in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In 2020, she graduated from James Madison University where she had studied Biomedical Illustration and Inequality in the Biological Sciences, with minors in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies, Biology, and Sociology. After graduating, she moved to Madrid, Spain where she pursued a master's in Bilingual & Multicultural Education from University of Alcalá and has been teaching English at a secondary school. Kristen is enthralled to be joining the Boston University Genetic Counseling Program Class of 2024. She is passionate about addressing inequities in healthcare and exploring how medical care can better acknowledge and affirm intersectional identities. In her free time, she enjoys wood burning, drawing, and teaching and practicing yoga.
